Ljubljana has the most beautiful historic center, contained within a sprawling pedestrian zone that flanks both sides of the willow-lined Ljubljanica River, with animated cafés and restaurants, magnificent Baroque buildings and bridges. Visit Postojna caves, Predjama castle & experience the underground world and with an adveturous train ride.
After breakfast departure for Lake Bled surrounded by high mountains, a dramatically placed 11th century cliffside castle and its tiny island with 99 steps leading up to the exquisite Church of the Assumption, the lake presents a fairy tale setting like no other. Castle visit and pletna boat ride to the island, visit of the Bee museum in Radovljica.
After breakfast explore more of lake Bled and Bohinj lake area. Experience the Vintgar gorge with its waterfalls, pools and rapids. Visit wooden bridges and Zumr’s galleries, lake Bohinj a nature lovers paradise. Take a cable car to a Vogel mountain. Mount Vogel at 1800m, visit of the Savica Falls.
Visit the Julian Alps and reaching slovenianhighest mountain pass Vrsis. Once on the top you will be rewarded by one of the best and most breathtaking scenery in the Alps. Visit the famous valley of the Soca river, Kobarid Museum. Tonight enjoy wine tasting of slovenian premium wines and traditional dinner.
Visit Karst plateau is a hill-top village of Stanjel. Visit the Lipica stud farm to admire white horses a unique attraction for horse lovers. It is here that the famous white Lipizzaner stallions are bred and trained. Late in the afternoon arrival to Slovenian coastal area – Piran. Among coastal towns Piran certainly holds a special place. It is also called a pearl of Mediterranean coast.
After breakfast transfer to Ljubljana or Trieste airport.
